Prices for single day and non-VIP weekend tickets Des Moines Con 2027 increase on specific dates.
Early bird tickets are on sale until March 17, 2027 and then the price will increase to the advance ticket price. The advance ticket price will be in effect until May 5, 2027 and then the price will increase to our full price tickets. See our chart below for specific prices.
Ticket prices at the door are the same as the full price tickets online.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What does my ticket include?
Single Day Tickets (Friday, Saturday or Sunday ONLY tickets) – This ticket includes entrance into the exhibit hall, artist alley, and all panels for one specific day of the event.
Weekend Tickets – This ticket includes entrance into the exhibit hall, artist alley, and all panels for all three days of the event.
VIP Tickets – This ticket includes entrance into the exhibit hall, artist alley, and all panels for all three (3) days of the event. This ticket also includes fifteen (15) minute early entry to the exhibit hall and artist alley for ALL three days of the event, VIP lines for celebrity autographs, a special VIP badge, VIP lanyard, VIP bag and an exclusive comic book or art print.
Kids Tickets – This ticket includes entrance into the exhibit hall, artist alley, and all panels for all three days of the event for kids ages 2 – 13.
What is the refund policy?
All tickets are final sale and cannot be refunded for any reason.
Tickets may be upgraded or changed to different event days through your Tixr account.
In the case of a full event cancellation without a rescheduled date, a full refund will be automatically issued to each patron on the credit card used to purchase.
Guest appearances, programming schedule and exhibitors/artists in attendance are subject to change without warning. No refunds on admission tickets due to changes in guests, schedule or exhibitors.
By purchasing a ticket to this event, you agree to this purchase policy. Before purchasing your tickets, we urge you to confirm the title, time and location of the event.
What's the deal with the ticket insurance?
Ticket insurance can be purchased at the same time as the ticket. It cannot be purchased after your ticket has already been purchased. Ticket insurance will allow a refund of your ticket through a 3rd party.
To use the insurance, you must file a claim with the ticket insurance company, Des Moines Con/Nerd Street does not and will not issue these refunds.

Is there a discount on VIP tickets?
No, there is no discount or early bird/advance price for VIP tickets.
Does my kid need an adult to attend with them?
We recommend those under 18 years of age attend with an adult.
But all minors 13 years old and younger are required to have a trusted adult accompany them to the event.
Does my infant/toddler/kid need a kids ticket?
Kids tickets are for ages 2-13. Kids and infants under 2 are welcome at the event, but do not need a ticket.
Minors 14 year of age and older will need a single day, weekend or VIP badge to attend.
Kids 13 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult at the event.
Do you have one day VIP passes?
No, sorry, we don’t have passes that allow for VIP for one day only. All of our VIP passes allow access for all three days of the event.
How can I upgrade my ticket?

Am I allowed to re-enter the event if I leave the venue?
Yes, once you have redeemed your ticket for a badge at registration, you can come and go from our event as often as you like. You just need to make sure that your badge is visible whenever you are in attendance at the event.
Does it matter that all my tickets have the same name on them?
It is okay that both tickets have the same name on them, since no names are printed on the physical badges. It is very common for gifted or group tickets to display the purchaser’s name.
When you arrive, we can simply scan your QR code or look up the name on the ticket to issue your badges. There is no need to update the names on the individual tickets, but if this would bring you peace of mind we can do that for you. Please email info@desmoinescon.com for that request.
